There has been much hype about crypto currency lately, but is it really a valid store of value or merely a scam ?

Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency widely available. Based on a mathematical algorithm to limit the number of coins available and based on decentralized servers around the globe. Bitcoin established a standard that many other cryptocurrencies tried to emulate.

Today, many "cryptocurrencies" are not based on any mathematical formulas or models of artificial scarcity. The amount of coins available are merely chosen on the whim of the creators. Furthermore, most of these coins are not based on independent decentralized networks. But instead, they piggyback on the blockchain of an already established cryptocurrency. Therefore eliminating the advantages inherent in cryptocurrency.

In recognition of these new fly-by-night cryptocurrencies, I have created LossPornCoin (LPC). With the express goal of becoming the most losing coin in the history of cryptocurrency. It may reach dizzying heights, but surely will fall to the same fate as all the other alt-coins.
